The Marine Turtle Caught By The Local Fisherman At The Point Of No Return Was Rescued By Segun Adebiyi.

It was a mild drama on Sunday, 27th February as a marine turtle was caught by the local fishermen at the 'Point Of No Return', it was caught at a popular tourist attraction beach in Badagry, Lagos Nigeria. The turtle was then sold to female handlers who loaded huddled onto motorcycle for onward transportation to a fish market in the town and have it sold for consumption. 

Seeing how much this beautiful Olive Ridley turtle "meat" (as it's been referred to by the locals) had suffered in the hands of the handlers and subsequently sold as delicacy. 

Segun Adebiyi who was at the scene of the event pleaded that the reptile be released to it natural habitat, Adebiyi explained the need to preserve these special creatures to prevent their extinction. After much negotiation pleading and bargaining, Adebiyi paid N25,000($60) to have the creature returned to the ocean. 

But the fishermen insisted in catching the turtle again immediately after it's released to the ocean it had been brought, it then belong to them again, to which the purpose of buying the special specie would have been defeated.

Realizing the fishermen were not ready to shift ground, the turtle had to be transported in a car to another nearby Sultan beach, there another drama erupted as the beach boys and the community boys prevented Adebiyi and his team from releasing the turtle into the ocean.

Again N5,000($12) was given to the boys before the creature was allowed to return back home where it belongs. The most rewarding moment was to see turtle as it swam back to the ocean.

Sea turtles are generally found in the waters over continental shelves. During the first three to five years of life, sea turtles spend most of their time in the pelagic zone floating in seaweed mats.

Green sea turtles in particular are often found in Sargassum mats,in which they find shelter and food. Once the sea turtle has reached adulthood it moves closer to the shore. Females will come ashore to lay their eggs on sandy beaches during the nesting season.

Human activities have tipped the scales against the survival of these ancient mariners. Nearly all species of sea turtle are classified as Endangered. Slaughtered for their eggs, meat, skin and shells, sea turtles suffer from poaching and over-exploitation. 

They also face habitat destruction and accidental capture in fishing gear. Climate change has an impact on turtle nesting sites. 

It alters sand temperatures, which then affects the sex of hatchlings.

A very young lovebirds whose parents were not in support of their marriage, have committed suicide by hanging on a rope because they didn't want to be separated.

A young couple have been found by local residents in Bangladesh dangling on a tree after hanging themselves in a shocking suicide.

 

Multiple online reports online reveal that their parents were not in support of their marriage which makes the two lovebirds to commit suicide because they don't want to be separated.

"Wonders shall never End! "SUICIDE for LOVE " This happened simply because their PARENTS were trying to separate the "TWO LOVER'S BIRDS" from getting married by separating them but they have chosen to END it this way.

Pictures of a young girl and her malformed baby have been trending online due to obvious reason. According to a Facebook user who shared the photos and didn't disclose where it happened, the girl gave birth to a ''monster'' as a question was asked what could have caused such deformity.

While some think the birth has to do with something spiritual, others have argued online that this is a medical condition.

A Facebook user, Smart Believe wrote; The baby is not a monster... it's a hereditary deficiency passed down by generational parents who both have the blood cell to trigger this birth...its an over growth of skin,like excess skin growth where a new skin generates always. It's difficult to handle such children cuz they are prone to infection if not properly taken care of...

Meet Zikhaya Sithole, South African Man who risked his life to save kids that were trapped from burning shack. He’s now hailed as HERO.

While making his way home from a local tuckshop, he heard a mother’s desperate cry for help.

Her two little ones were trapped inside the burning shack and were minutes away from collapsing.

Without a second thought to his own safety, Zikhaya courageously sprung into action, rushed inside the shack to save the two boys.

Unfortunately, he did not have enough time to reach a one-year-old baby whose life was claimed by the deadly flames.

“When I got inside the shack, I heard the children crying. I grabbed the child who was on the bed and ran out, but when I wanted to go back for the other one, the flames were too strong,” said Zikhaya in a Daily Sun article, early October.

Zikhaya said his partner couldn’t believe it when he returned home with third degree burns, and immediately called paramedics.

Zikhaya’s injuries from his selfless deed were so severe that unfortunately he can no longer work, his hands too damaged to continue the welding work he usually does.

His bravery did not come without a price to pay as he experienced severe burns that resulted in scars that will stay with him forever.

However, he told the Daily Sun he never regretted entering the shack: “I have saved a child. I wish I could have saved them both.”

South Africans whose hearts were moved by his brave actions joined hands in commending him for his unmatched bravery.

Many of them called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to award him with the National Medal of Honour for bravery.

19-year-old man nailed to a tree for allegedly stealing a radio

Police has rescued a 19-year-old man who was nailed to a tree on suspicion of stealing a radio in Kenya.

Collins Sambaya, from Chamasili village in Sabatia sub-county was injured by one Elvis Irime, who nailed both his palms to a tree on Friday, February 18. 

North Izava location Chief Evans Endesha reported the matter to the police via a phone call.  Upon visiting the scene, police found the young man in great pain.

"Upon seeing the police approaching the scene, the assailant suspect ran away and is still at large," the police report reads in part.

Sambaya was rescued and rushed to Mbale County Referral Hospital where he is in stable condition. 

A statement issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, DCI, says police has launched manhunt for the suspect responsible for the inhuman act. 

 "In an incident that brought Sabatia’s, Izava village to a standstill, 19-year-old Collins Sambaya, was found secured on a tree using two roofing nails, that had been driven through each palm of his hands," the statement read.

"The distraught villagers who couldn’t come to terms with what had befallen one of their own, watched in disbelief from a distance as officers rescued him and rushed him to hospital.

"Meanwhile, a manhunt for the suspects responsible for the inhuman act has been launched, with the area security team employing every available resource to apprehend the suspects."

Sugar Daddy 54, Pours Acid on 18-Years-Old Girlfriend For Reporting Him to Police After He Leaked Her S3x Tape

A 54-year-old Sugar Daddy has reportedly poured acid on his 18-year-old girlfriend and her mother for reporting him to the police after he leaked her s3x tape.

However it is not clear why he leaked the young lady’s s3x tapes, his action got the lady and her mother upset and they lodged a complaint at the Koforidua Police Station where he was made to pay a sum of ₵1,000 at Koforidua court A in Ghana for damages and another ₵1,000 as charges.

This got businessman angry and he Bathed the mother and daughter with acid shortly after they finished taking their baths.

The victims were then rushed to the Komfo Anokye hospital where they are receiving treatment. The suspect was arrested after he tried to escape after the attack.

Uganda's Kanungu cult massacre that killed 700 followers

On March 17, 2000, about 700 people were imprisoned in " The Ark, " a religious center in South West Uganda. No one could get out because all the doors and windows were nailed shut. The structure was set on fire and burned to the ground.

There was no one left alive.

The graphic facts of this event are chilling.

The victims were members of the Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God, a cult that believe that the world would end on January 1, 2000. Members of the chapel were not only burned alive, but others were also stabbed and strangled to death, according to new evidence. While some victims died as a result of a blow to the head, others died as a result of sulfuric acid being thrown on them, among other brutal and despicable deaths.

The predicted end of the world did not occur on the assigned day of doom, so the cult decided to set another date for the fulfillment of their prophecy. This sparked mistrust among the cult' s followers, who began to doubt the accuracy of the cult' s prophecies.

The cult leaders

Joseph Kibweteere and Credonian Mwerinde, the sect' s leaders, slaughtered hundreds of their followers in the most horrible manner possible.

The Uganda Human Rights Commission ultimately determined that the crime was " a well- planned murder perpetrated by the cult leaders, Credonia Mwerinde, a former prostitute, and Joseph Kibwetere, a former teacher and failed politician, " rather than mass suicide.

As the investigation progressed, more 

information about the leaders became available.

While researching Credonian, who was thought to be the cult' s leader, it was discovered that she had always been violent, had arsonist tendencies, and was extremely selfish. She had set fire to the properties of a local politician who had rejected her down when she was younger. Despite the fact that her family had sent her for therapy, she had returned, admitting to " mental instability. 

Credonian had previously seduced, killed, and stolen the money of a passing driver, according to a letter from a close friend. There was also evidence to believe she had murdered her three brothers one by one in order to seize possession of a family plantation that eventually became the cult' s headquarters.

Credonian, a former prostitute, was excessively money- hungry and even ran a bar where she became personal with customers for money.

Joseph Kibweteere, the second leader, is less well- known.

His wife, on the other hand, has attempted to clear her husband. Teresa Kibweteere, Joseph' s Kibweteere' s wife, has claimed that he was never the cult' s leader, but that Mwerinde, also known as " the programmer, " was. Teresa goes on to say that Joseph joined the group against her choice when Credonian stated that she saw Joseph in a vision who would assist her restore the Ten Commandments.

The cult' s strange rules

Many of the sect' s members had promised to be obedient and reverent while it was still active. They would clean the floors, wash the clothing, and dig for weeks on end just because they were told to. At worst, the members appeared to be mesmerized since they executed every command without protest.

They were compelled to fast twice a week and eat only twice a day. Cult members spoke in sign language and wore black outfits at all times.

Catarina Bandana, who was ejected from the cult, claimed that she believed that living that way would save her life, and that she had blisters on her feet and legs but didn' t mind. Credonian claimed to have heard the voice of Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ, on several occasions. She was able to get people to do anything she wanted and recruit additional converts to the group under this pretence.

Cause of murder

The terrible killings could have occurred for a variety of reasons. One example is that after the sect declared the world would end on December 31, 2000, but it didn' t, members requested the return of all their belongings, which they had given up when they first joined. Unfortunately, the commanders may have seen this conduct as bold, leading to the premature slaughter of the defiant members.

There are also rumors that Credonian and Joseph took the money from church members after persuading them to sell their property.

No Justice for the Victims

It' s hard to believe that no one has been charged with the horrible deaths despite the fact that they occurred over 20 years ago. Even though they haven' t been seen since that day, several of the cult leaders are thought to remain alive. Although Credonian has not been located since then, there is widespread speculation that she is still alive.

As a result, no explanation has been given for so many fatalities occurring at the same time, whether it was mass suicide or mass murder. Any explanation would be completely inadequate.

One thing is certain: the multiple killings caused by the Ten Commandments cult' s botched prophecy are reprehensible, and no justification exists for taking lives in such a heinous manner.

At just 9 years, Sanele Masilela became the world’s youngest groom. Sanele married Helen Shabangu, 62, for the second time, after marrying her last year as part of a ritual

News reported that Masilela was visited by his dead ancestors who told him to wed Shabangu. They say they married again to make it “official. ”Sanele’s family accepted the marriage because according to them if they refused to satisfy their ancestors, something horrible would have happened to the two families. Regardless of this, certain individuals in Ximhungwe town, where the wedding took place occurred described the entire occasion as ‘nauseating’.

However, the two will not live together and Sanele said he still plans to marry a woman of his own age when he is older and more established. “I’m very happy that the boy chose me and my family support and understand that it is part of making ancestors happy,” Shabangu said. “One day Sanele would grow normally and have a family of his own and get married one day, all this ceremony is for making ancestors happy.

A mentally-challenged man, who was suspected to be a kidnapper has jumped to death in the Molete area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital yesterday, while he was trying to escape from an angry mob that set him ablaze.

National Daily gathered that before mob descended on him, the mentally deranged man was seen by some people while he was receiving a package from an unidentified persons who were in a private car on the Molete bridge and as soon as the car zoomed off, the people accosted him in order to know what he received from those people. When they searched him, they discovered that it was N7m cheque, an iPhone and a cutlass and due to this, they descended on him.

It was revealed that when they set the mentally deranged man ablaze, he rose up and jumped down from the bridge in order to escape but, could not stand up again when he landed as the angry mob continued to pour fuel on his body untill he finally gave up the ghost.

South African thugs assaulted two Nigerians over a stolen laptop, leaving one fighting for his life in what might be perceived as another racist crime.

Despite the delicate nature of the situation, Anaedoonline.ng has learned that the South African police have declined to investigate the event.

According to many reports in the nation, the hoodlums attacked the Nigerians for reportedly purchasing a stolen laptop from another South African.

Nicholas, a Nigerian who is fighting for his life, was beaten with his friend, whom the thugs mistook for an accomplice, while the South African criminal who stole and sold the laptop to Nicholas was unharmed.

Nicholas was now fighting for his life at Kimberly Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, where doctors reported his brain had changed as a result of the beating, allowing water to enter his brain.

Despite the fact that the water has been drained, doctors believe he has a 50/50 chance of survival, warning that even if he lives, he may never be able to work again.

Nicholas had purchased a stolen laptop from another South African, and the owner of the laptop captured the South African who had stolen it and delivered him to the Nigerian who had purchased it. The Nigerian who had purchased it had supposedly sold it to another Nigerian.

The hoodlums instructed him to contact the Nigerian to whom he had sold the laptop, which he did. However, when he came, he informed them that he no longer had the laptop but agreed to pay them for it.

The owner of the laptop consented, but he arrived with a bunch intent on robbing him of his phones, which he denied, resulting in his being beaten into a coma.

As the clip goes on, Zouma throws a pair of shoes at the cat and slaps him in the face as he tries to escape. The public outcry forced Zouma to issue an apology on Monday, insisting in a statement that the incident was an isolated one.

"I want to apologise for my actions. There are no excuses for my behaviour, which I sincerely regret. I also want to say how deeply sorry I am to anyone who was upset by the video. I would like to assure everyone that our two cats are perfectly fine and healthy.

But as far as animal lovers are concerned, his apology doesn’t go far enough with one YouTuber writing, “When I heard about this I thought 'ah, ok sounds bad, but was it an overreaction?'. Watching it now, I am horrified. I think he should be suspended from playing as a statement and warning against such disgusting behaviour.” Another chimed in with, “A coward and a bully.” 

Zouma went on to assure the public that his cats “are loved and cherished by our entire family, and this behaviour was an isolated incident that will not happen again."

West Ham were quick to issue their own statement in which they strongly condemned Zouma’s actions. "We have spoken to Kurt and will be dealing with the matter internally, but we would like to make it clear that we in no way condone cruelty towards animals."

A spokesperson for the RSPCA has also made it clear that kicking, hitting and slapping animals is unacceptable behavior, stating "We are so grateful to people who report suspected animal suffering to us and we would like to reassure people we will always look into and, if necessary, investigate any complaints made to us about animal welfare."
